Before specifying the OPzV2-400, quantify daily energy throughput and desired autonomy duration. The OPzV2-400 delivers 400 Ah at the 10-hour rate (2.56 kWh per cell at 2V nominal). For a 48V system requiring 10kWh usable at 60% DoD: 10,000Wh / (48V x 0.60) = 347Ah — rounding to one parallel string of 24x OPzV2-400 cells in series (24S1P) provides 19.2kWh of backup capacity. CHISEN recommends a maximum 60% DoD for cyclic solar applications to preserve the 20-year float life.

Solar Sizing for OPzV2-400 Based Systems
