Products and specifications

What lead-acid battery types does CHISEN manufacture?

CHISEN produces OPzV tubular gel, OPzS flooded tubular, AGM VRLA blocks (6-EVF, 6-DMF and 6-DZF series, 12 V 12–200 Ah) and LiFePO4 replacement batteries. Tubular cells run from 2 V 100 Ah to 2 V 3,000 Ah at the C10 rate.

What is the difference between OPzV and OPzS?

OPzV uses immobilised gel electrolyte and needs no water top-up, which suits remote telecom sites. OPzS uses flooded liquid electrolyte, costs slightly less and needs periodic topping up, so it suits sites with easy maintenance access such as central offices.

What float voltage should the charger be set to?

OPzV floats at 2.25 V per cell (13.5 V for a 12 V block) and equalises at 2.35 V per cell. OPzS floats at 2.23 V per cell. Apply −3 mV per °C per cell temperature compensation above 25 °C.

How is a 48 V telecom string built?

A standard 48 V string is 24 × 2 V cells in series. For a 5 kW macro site needing 4 hours of backup, the usual configuration is 24 × 2 V 1000 Ah, storing 48 kWh. Twelve-volt blocks are used for small cell sites and mini-BTS installations.

Can batteries of different capacities be mixed in one string?

No. Mixing capacities forces the smaller cells into over-discharge and destroys them quickly. Use identical capacity, batch and rest time across the whole string, and keep cable lengths matched.

How long do the batteries last?

OPzV delivers 18–20 years of float life at 25 °C, roughly 12–14 years at 35 °C and 9–11 years at 40 °C. The 12 V AGM range is a 2–5 year consumable by design, so budget replacements accordingly.

Ordering and logistics

What is the minimum order quantity?

100 cells per model for standard SKUs. Custom branding raises the MOQ to 500 cells with a 60-day lead time.

What is the lead time?

About 25 days for orders under 500 cells, and 40–45 days for a full container load. Production capacity is 70 million kVAh per year across 8 production bases.

Which certifications come with the batteries?

ISO 9001, ISO 14001, CE, UL and IEC. Ask for the test report tied to the exact model rather than a generic product-line certificate.

What warranty is included?

36 months from the bill of lading date. The warranty covers early failures; the typical ASEAN replacement cycle is 8–10 years.

What shipping terms are available?

FOB Ningbo or Shanghai as standard, with sea freight of 14–18 days to Manila, Jakarta, Bangkok, Ho Chi Minh City and Yangon. DDP is available for major ports on request.

Can the batteries be shipped by air?

Sealed VRLA and OPzV cells pass the IATA DGR tests (UN 2800, special provision A67). Because of weight, sea freight is more economical for full container loads; air is normally used only for emergency cell replacement.

What is the HS code?

Lead-acid accumulators are classified under HS 8507.20. Confirm the exact commodity description with your customs broker before booking.

Where is the factory?

CHISEN Battery is based in Hangzhou, Zhejiang, China, and operates 8 production bases. Factory audits and sample testing can be arranged for qualified buyers.

Can I get a quote or a sample?
