To understand why CHISEN batteries perform consistently across 50 countries — from the heat of Lagos to the cold of Almaty — you need to understand what happens inside the factory.
The Scale: 8 Factories, 90 Lines, 1 Million m²
CHISEN operates 8 manufacturing facilities across China and Bangladesh, covering over 1,000,000 square meters — equivalent to roughly 140 football fields. Ninety automated production lines operate around the clock. Annual production capacity: 70 million kVAh. This is not a small operation.
Stage 1: Alloy Preparation
All CHISEN batteries use lead-calcium-tin alloys rather than the older antimony alloys. Antimony alloys require regular water top-up, suffer higher self-discharge, and present environmental hazards. CHISEN’s internal synthesis technology produces alloys free of cadmium and arsenic — a meaningful distinction given that many budget manufacturers still use these toxic metals.
Stage 2: Grid Casting and Paste Preparation
Grid geometry determines high-current discharge capability (critical for e-bike acceleration) and grid corrosion resistance (determines cycle life). CHISEN’s grids are designed specifically for the repetitive high-current discharge pattern of electric vehicles. The high-density lead paste formula — proprietary to CHISEN — provides more active material per plate, directly translating to higher capacity.
Stage 3: AGM Assembly and Quality Testing
Plates are interleaved with AGM (Absorbent Glass Mat) separators. CHISEN uses high-strength ABS plastic cases and copper-embedded terminals on premium models for superior conductivity. Every battery is formation-charged and tested before shipment: voltage, capacity, electrolyte density, seal integrity, and terminal torque.
The R&D Edge: Chinese Academy of Sciences Partnership
CHISEN maintains active partnerships with the Chinese Academy of Sciences and Harbin Institute of Technology. New active material formulations, improved grid designs, and advanced testing methodologies flow from research laboratories to production lines. The company holds utility model patents and design patents covering terminal designs, electrolyte formulations, and manufacturing processes.
When you buy CHISEN, you buy from a vertically integrated manufacturer with 90 production lines, in-house R&D, and strict quality control at every stage. The quality you receive today is the quality you received last year — and the quality you will receive next year.
