Step 1: Determine your daily range requirement Multiply average trip distance by 1.5 for safety margin.

Step 2: Calculate required watt-hours (Wh) Wh needed = (motor watts × hours) ÷ efficiency factor (0.85) Example: 500W motor, 1 hour/day = 500Wh / 0.85 = 588Wh required
